After he obtained his PhD in chemistry in 2003 from the University of Hull, UK, he joined the Department of Applied Chemistry, School of Chemical and Material Engineering, Jiangnan University, as a Professor.
Professor Song’s research focuses on the development of novel chemiluminescence (electrochemiluminescence) and electrochromic systems, the fabrication of new analytical sensors, instrument miniaturization and the development of on-line analysis system. He also interested in the monitoring of the organic pollutants and the development of relevant remediation methods.
